is construction explosions!!!!

I don't know what it is about explosions, particularly those involved in construction, but I find them fascinating. This is why every time the pre-explosion warning sounds, I dash to my balcony with my camera in hand, hoping to get a video of the event. Call it strange if you will, but it amuses me.

My first fotboll game in Sweden

This week L. & I decided spur-of-the-moment to go to a soccer game. Sweden was playing Northern Ireland and the arena is within walking distance from home and we got 2-for-1 tickets (thanks to Aftonbladet) a few hours before the game started. It was great fun. I never ceased to be fascinated with fans and their chanting. At the very beginning of the above video clip, you can hear someone singing the end of "In med bollen i mål," which means, "In with the ball in the goal." Anyway it was fun.
